Farmstyle Beef Bobotie with Carrots, Peas and Yellow Rice

South Africa loves a good Bobotie and this is a FitChef version of the recipe and it won't disappoint. A warmly spiced lean *beef mince with a colourful whisked egg topping and served with a traditional side of yellow **brown rice and delicious baby carrots and peas.

*beef: our meat is grass-fed, hormone, steroid and routine antibiotic-free.

**brown basmati rice: We always choose the better more natural version of whole food with more fibre (fibre is critical for health and gut health). That’s why we chose brown basmati over white. Every detail makes a huge difference to your health.

FitChef is a healthy food company that produces ready made meals, smoothies, juices, snacks and breakfasts options, based on the #eatClean ethos. This means we are obsessed with real, whole food ingredients and giving you healthy food as close to natures version as possible.

We have a wide range of great quick, easy meat, vegan and vegetarian prepared frozen meals. Which includes your favourite weekend spoils while still adding to your health with our burgers, pizzas, and guilt-free snacks.

You want to make sure you’re actually eating food not a science experiment, that’s why we cook with no preservatives, additives, highly refined ingredients, no artificial or man-made chemicals.

No added sugar (apart from the limited occasional use of honey or coconut sugar). Meats are growth hormone and routine antibiotic free and most meals are wheat and gluten free.
