About Simply Pets

1. Ingredients

Delicious, wholesome goodness!

The Simply Pets raw diet is made up of free-range raw chicken, ostrich, venison or beef muscle meat, bone meal, bones and vital organs.  For dogs, we add vegetables such as pumpkin, cabbage, carrots, beetroot, tomatoes, fruit and herbs, in balanced proportion.

To ensure an ideal omega 3:6 ratio, we add deep-sea Krill - a rich source of essential omega 3 fatty acids.  Contrary to popular belief, a certain amount of omega 6 and 9 is, in fact, essential for health.  We therefore also make use of unheated, untreated sunflower oil, which is high in oleic and linoleic acids - essential for skin health and the immune system.

These ingredients are minced together with extra high-quality amino acid chelated supplements, including additional vitamins and minerals.  To complete the diet, Himalayan rock salt adds all the required natural trace elements, providing the essential building blocks for keeping the body naturally fit and healthy.

The food is accurately weighed into convenient portion sizes. These portions are packed and sealed, then immediately frozen to retain all the goodness.

There are no colourants, unnatural additives or preservatives in Simply Pets Raw Food.

Simply Pets Raw Foods are formulated by a holistic veterinarian, medical nutritionist and homoeopath.

2. Feeding Guidelines

This range of 100% balanced raw food has been scientifically formulated to meet the nutritional needs of your beloved animal companions.  Whether your best friend is a playful puppy or a fussy feline, our range of superior quality raw foods will help you to give them a longer, healthier, happier life!

  • Most puppies eat what they need and tend to regulate their intake quite well.
  • Small breeds tend to eat more with respect to their body weight than large breed puppies and adults.
  • Male puppies tend to need more food than female puppies.
  • It is important to feed puppies a balanced and complete food all the time as it is harder for them to regulate nutrient needs over time compared to adults.
