For your weekday meals (Strict Keto), we've developed this Keto range mathematically to get ~75% kCal from Fat, ~20% kCal from Protein & ~5% kCal from specific low carb vegetables with enough fibre. We've also capped the meals at 600kCal in total. You will be eating 2 meals a day and will feel extremely satiated. You may even move to 1 meal a day over time as they are unbelievably satiating.
For your weekend meals, we have included meals from the Moderate Keto range. This range is a higher-carb range, but still low enough to keep you on track (<50g quality natural carbs/day).
Our Cyclical ketogenic kit will give you strict ketogenic meals 5 days per week, followed by 2 days of higher carb meals from our Moderate Keto range.
These higher-carb days are often referred to as “refeeding days,” as they’re meant to replenish your body’s depleted glucose reserves.
If you undertake a cyclical ketogenic diet, you switch out of ketosis during refeeding days in order to reap the benefits of carb consumption for a temporary period.
