Chicken Pesto with Wholewheat Penne Pasta

This is an upgrade from a regular pesto pasta and one of our most popular meals. A high-quality **whole-wheat pasta, with free-range *chicken, extra virgin olive oil, Kefalotiri cheese, cherry tomatoes and courgettes. This pasta is just as good as the old Italian mamma makes.

* chicken: our meat is hormone, steroid and routine antibiotic free. 

**whole-wheat pasta: This is one of the few meals where we allowed wheat, we felt that whole-wheat pasta was easier on the stomach than most alternatives. Whole-wheat pasta is way higher in fibre than white pasta and high-fibre makes all the difference (whole wheat pasta is 3 or more times higher in fibre).

Storing Instructions


Defrost meal in fridge for best results, Keep refrigerated. Eat meals within 2 days of defrosting.


Heating Instructions


Best Results:

Hot Tray: Place meal on hot tray. Frozen meal: 25-30 mins, defrosted meal 20 mins. Turn hot tray off afterwards.

Oven: Remove from packaging and place meal into oven proof container. 180 degree Celsius for 25-30 mins.

Frying Pan: Heat defrosted meal in pan.

Convenience: 

Microwave: Once defrosted, open film, heat for 2 mins on high, stir to thicken sauces. If frozen heat for 4 mins on high. Microwave heating will always soften food, while it is more convenient other heating methods will produce better results.


Freezing Instructions


Keep all meals frozen in your freezer for up to 3 months. Defrost in your fridge overnight for best results. Stir any sauces to thicken.
