A South-African food fairy-tale! *bacon wrapped around **boerewors, served with a light and fluffy duo of mash, butternut and potato.

* bacon:  modern bacon is made with shocking ingredients, fitchef bacon is specially made for us without additives, sugars and nitrates, just the old-fashioned smoked way.

**boerewors: traditional wors can be full of artificial ingredients, added sugars and cereals. Our wors is made especially for fitchef. We use a leaner cut of beef that is grass-fed, hormone, steroid and routine antibiotic free. We don't use cereals, added sugar or preservatives or anything artificial. Just 100% real food.  Our wors is made with carefully selected beef in a lamb casing.

Storing Instructions


Keep frozen for up to 5 months (-18°C). Defrost in fridge for best results, consume within
3 days of defrosting. Do not refreeze once defrosted.


Heating Instructions


Defrost: For best results defrost in fridge overnight.
Oven convection (Best): Transfer food to ovenproof container, place in preheated 180°C
oven and roast for 20-30 mins. Stir every 10 mins.
Pan heating: Place defrosted food into medium heat pan, heat until warm while stirring.
Microwave, from defrosted: Pierce top film. Heat for 2-3 mins, stir to thicken sauce.
Microwave, from frozen: Pierce top film. Heat for 4-5 mins, stir to thicken sauce.


Freezing Instructions


Keep frozen for up to 5 months (-18°C). Defrost in fridge for best results, consume within
3 days of defrosting. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
